EMWRT VII: « Harvest time » (2012)
On the agenda of this 7th edition: semantic applications based on the results of the Celtic MediaMap project, some initiatives in the production of Media, and advanced research:
- "Trans Media Semantic Player", a tool that offers management and representation of information, independent of any application or database. It uses a semantic middleware that administers media encapsulation, ontology, and knowledge bases, within a distributed architecture. Inference rules are implemented to provide intuitive navigation, and enrich a semantic database.
- new processes, new copyright management based on "Three Pillar Repositories"
- identify the limits of interoperability!
The Trans Media Player app was also on display during the IBC on MediaMap Stand (Hall 10 - D44.)
